What should I expect to pay for a complete estate plan?

The Law Office of Margaret T. Healy will customize your estate plan to your needs. Plans range from $800 to $3,000 depending on your assets and complexity of issues.

Will Package

A standard will package is $800. This includes the last will and testament, durable power of attorney, healthcare directive, and health information release.

Trust Package 1

A standard trust package for a single individual is $2,000. This includes the revocable living trust, assignment of property, pour-over will, certification of trust, durable power of attorney, health care directive, health information release, and the creation and recording of the trust transfer deed for your residence. There are additional charges for notarizing your documents (approximately $150.00)

Trust Package 2

A standard trust package for a couple is $3,000. This includes the revocable living trust, assignment of property, certification of trust, 2 pour-over wills, nomination of guardian (if minor children), 2 durable powers of attorney, 2 health care directives, 2 health information releases, and the creation and recording of the trust transfer deed for your residence.

Additional charges will apply for additional property assets (approx. $200 each) and notarization of your final documents (approx. $250.00).

Trust and Estate Administration

Attorney services for trust and estate administration are provided at an hourly rate of $250.00.
